Brass and steel forearm protector

Forearm protector made of a combination of two metals - brass and steel. Both metals can be finished in an interesting way by chemical treatment, and this is what happened in this case. The brass elements were etched to obtain a matte, rough surface, while the steel, after a preliminary mechanical treatment, was cold-oxidized to obtain a dark color of varying intensity. The upper decorative "ladder" is a structure of bicycle chain links, leather and steel wire.
